Al-Ubudiyyah: Being a True Slave of ALLAH

Everyone needs a primary goal that serves as the center of their love and will. A person will eventually become enslaved by something else if Allah is not the object of his love and will, whether it is his own conceit and haughtiness, fortune, power, or something else he regards as a deity rather than Allah.The only way the heart may be sound, successful, joyful, pleasurable, good, peaceful, or calm is by worshiping its lord, adoring Him, and coming back to Him. From an early age, Shaykh Ibn Taymiyah (1263 CE/661 AH–1328 CE/728 AH) was a scholar, having finished his studies while still in his teens. He came from a family of scholars. His writings, which address serious concerns that have troubled humanity for ages, are just as relevant today as they were when they were penned more than five centuries ago.He demonstrates the Islamic responses to those queries by drawing on his extensive understanding of the Qur'an and Sunnah. A planned series of books titled "Towards Islamic Psychology" will draw on the rich history of Islamic scholarship to provide helpful guidance based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, addressing a variety of contemporary psychological issues.
